Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the TalePanda website and the personalized storybooks we create. By using the service or placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

TalePanda lets you create a personalized digital storybook about your child. You can generate a free preview; the complete 12-page book with illustrations is a paid digital product delivered as a PDF download.

2. Orders and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include applicable VAT. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your order is confirmed once payment has been received and the generation of your full book begins automatically after that.

3. Your content and your responsibilities

  • You confirm that the details you provide — including any photo you upload — are yours to use, and that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo.
  • You give us permission to process the story details and photo for one purpose: creating the book you ordered.
  • Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights (including copyrighted characters or real public figures), or is inappropriate for children. We may quietly reinterpret or refuse inappropriate custom adventure ideas, as described in the FAQ.

4. The book and intellectual property

  • When your book is completed, you receive a personal, non-commercial license to download, print and enjoy it — including as a gift.
  • You may not resell the book or its illustrations, or present them as your own commercial work.
  • The TalePanda platform, brand and website remain ours. As illustrations are generated with AI, similar motifs or compositions may appear in other customers' books.

5. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable, magical experience, but the service is provided on an "as is" basis and we may improve or change it over time. If a generation fails, we retry automatically and you can contact us for a retry, a regeneration, or a refund under our Refund Policy.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your book. We are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
